Gate Valves
Gate Valves
A gate valve closes off the flowing medium in the pipeline by means of a valve plate. The design of the valve plate determines for which application the gate valve is most suitable.
In general, gate valves are used for media and circumstances in which ball valves and butterfly valves are unsuitable. Good examples of this are pulp and paper processes, sludge and water treatment processes, fibres and applications in which the medium contains slurry and solids.
