Why cryogenic ball valves?

Habonim cryogenic ball valves are ball valves with a temperature range from -269°C to +230⁰C. These ball valves are suitable for CO2, methane, LNG, oxygen, argon, nitrogen, hydrogen and helium applications.

Habonim standard cryogenic ball valves

Habonim cryogenic ball valves are fitted with an upstream pressure relief hole as a standard and are therefore closed on one side. This valve is specifically designed to minimise thermal expansion and prevent leakage.  

Habonim bi-directional cryogenic ball valves

 A spring-loaded seat assembly relieves pressure, eliminating the need for a pressure relief hole. The valve thus closes on both sides.
