Core PTFE slide bearing type BBC is a square PTFE slide bearing for larger loads. In the case of a PTFE slide bearing type BBC, the PTFE element sits in a cup-shaped holder which sits in a cup-shaped base plate. This way, the bearing can tilt, allowing slight bending of the superstructure.
The bearing is fitted with flanges and must therefore be fixed to the load-bearing construction by means of bolts. The PTFE bearing type BBC is supplied with a matching counter bearing and bolt holes as a standard. The PTFE bearing type BBC can absorb displacements in two directions. The default motion absorbing capacity is: 20mm, 40mm or 80mm. This bearing is also available with a guide. This is type BBC-G. The BBC-G type is single-side guided and can therefore only absorb displacement in one direction.
Dimension
The WBC type is a cup-shaped bearing that allows the superstructure to tilt or bend. Special dimensions and base materials are possible. However, the standard version is the most economical.
